Episode One: From the beginning from mike ambs ☂ on Vimeo.
Anyone who knows me knows that 2 of my greatest passions have been for cycling and movie making, I just wish that I had more time to do both. About 2 or so years ago I stumbled across this great site, http://projectpedal.com , which documented the making of a documentary movie telling the story of a cyclist who cycled across the USA starting at the Pacific and finishing at the Atlantic Ocean. The title of the film is For Thousands of Miles.
I’ve been following the progress of the movie since I found the site and have helped support the project, and hope to continue doing so into the future. I can’t believe I haven’t posted about this previously and it recently dawned on me to mention it on my blog so that I can help promote the project further and hopefully help Mike generate some more much need financial support so that he is able to complete this amazing project.
Please visit Mike’s site to find out more about the work he is doing. He provides regular updates on his production blog including some great behind the scenes videos he titles ’64 days’ and awesome teasers for the final movie. If you like what you see please subscribe to the updates, follow Mikes updates on Twitter at either @Pedal or @FToM and if you can please help the project financially by donating what ever you can. Most importantly join the Project Pedal community and help spread the word.
Oh, and don’t forget you can also follow me @brentvardy on Twitter.

DVD Sale

Since getting back from our recent trip to the
Maldives (photos and video coming soon...) we have
been de-cluttering our house and having a good clear
out of 'stuff' we don't want or need any more. Since
I am a member of Lovefilm
I've decided that I no longer need to keep
copies of DVD's, if I want to watch them again I
simple add them to my list and rent using my
Lovefilm subscription service. Therefore I'm in
the process of going through all my DVD's, both
movies and TV box sets and listing them up on
ebay to sell. So if you are looking for a cheap
bargain DVD check out my eBay
listings here.
